Japanese Tanto.

A quality export Japanese Tanto. From the Meiji period
1868-1912. The blade is an antique pre 1600, unsigned. Blade is in untouched condition, some old marks but still in good order. Has a very thin hamon.
The mounts are in good condition, laquer saya with gold mon badges.
A fine example of this kind of tanto.

A Japanese Wakizashi, looks Bizen style. Has an ancient blade circa 1500. Signed Mi Hara Ju Masa Tsugu. Has been mounted to be carried to war, looks like a possible pilots sword due to its size and mounts.

Japanese Wakizashi.

A Japanese Ko-Wakizashi, small. Has a signed 17th century blade. Made by Yokoyama Ko-juke Dai-jo
Fujiwara Suke Sada. The mounts are good but in dirty condition, satsuma style handle and a steel plate and copper tsuba. Saya has some damage to it. Blade in untouched condition, some old rust and marks.
This would make a good restoration project.

Japanese Katana.

A Japanese Officers Sword in Shin Gunto mounts.
Has an antique 17th century blade signed Bungo Kami Fuji Wara Kane Taka. The mounts are in good but untouched condition. The saya has a bullet strike visible showing its combat use. The blade has old marks and some wear but otherwise is in good condition.
A good example of this kind of sword with an interesting battle scar.

A Japanese large Katana Tsuba, possibly bronze. Made by a mirror maker, mirrors were made of bronze. Signed Yamashiro Ju Masa Yoshi. Looks Kagamishi school. Late Edo period. In good condition. 82mm by 82mm. A nice tsuba.

Japanese Type 19 Kyu Gunto Sword.

A Japanese Type 19 Kyu Gunto Army Officers Sword.
This mount issued from 1886. Has an old forged 16th century blade, signed Kane Haru. There is a family Mon badge on the back strap. The mounts are in fine condition and the blade is in original meiji period polish.
The blade has some small nicks, fine scratches and odd spotting.

A Japanese Tsuka, a hilt. For a large sword. 19th century work , in good condition. Has tree trunk and flower menuki. Will take a long tang, 7.5 inches from the machi jo nakago jiri and 29mm across at the machi.
