Japanese Uchi-Gatana.

A Japanese Uchi-Gatana with a unsigned late 16th
century blade. The tang and blade shape are Bizen
work. In untouched condition. Blade in tidy condition but does have some marks and would benefit from a
polish. Mounts are in good condition.
Comes with its original retention certificate and letter from the family. The veteran was a M.C winner , Major J.C Rumboll, 3rd battalion 2nd punjab regiment.
A good sword , and rare to find with paper work and family history.
