A Japanese Tsuka, a hilt. For a large sword. 19th century work , in good condition. Has tree trunk and flower menuki. Will take a long tang, 7.5 inches from the machi jo nakago jiri and 29mm across at the machi.
Allowance must be made for Habaki and tsuba.
